I think HK makes fine products - I had an HK integrated amp years ago that I wish I still owned.

BUT I think the features/price ratio is out of whack on their receivers compared to Yamaha and Denon right now. If it was me (and it WAS a couple months ago) I'd spend a little less on a receiver (like $350 instead of $550) and put the extra into speakers. I don't think the HK calibration stuff is in the same league as the newer Elite and Yamaha functionality.
