I'm not looking to blow out the 'hood with bass, but would like to have a little more low end while listening to music on the patio with the Algonquins. I'm looking for a sub that can be moved in and out of the house or garage fairly easily. I really can't justify spending a ton of money, even to myself, let alone anyone else that may live in the same house as me. Anyway, I disgress...after losing a few bids for used subs, I'm considering a factory outlet EP125. It is actually a little more money than I was looking to spend on the used subs, but I believe worth the support of buying new from Axiom. I would guess that the EP125 would work quite well for music playback. As for logistics, the patio is bordered by the side of the house and the back of the garage.
