I followed the video, but actually placed my sub on the couch facing forward. I never thought to try the sub in different orientations on the couch while I was crawling.
Maybe it's just my ears (or lack of
), but I found 2 broad regions of my room where I thought the sub sounded best, not a specific spot. I then placed the sub in the region that worked best for the physical use of my HT room. Then played with sub orientation within that region. At this point i don't know if any changes were real or placebo, but I have tricked myself into being happy so am leaving well enough alone!
