The M60s sound great all on their own and will be more than enough even in a large room. The differences between the 60s and the 80s outside of bass in a 2.0 situation are very subtle. I would not have hesitated to go with the 60s if I had a similar budget restriction.
My original expected use was 90% music 10% movies, but damn do movies sound good with a proper system.
The QS series are among the best, if not the best, surrounds in the industry.
You will get good value for your money (trust me, I'm a cheap bugger) out of Axiom. Certainly better than lower mid line Klipsch.
