Wow, thanks for the ideas. The picture helps. My fireplace has a hearth though, which jacks the whole thing up by about a foot. I set the TV higher on the bracket so the center should fit under the TV. The TV is a bit high, but it tilts so I haven't had any neck pain (yet). Maybe I can stick something under the back of the speaker and tilt it forward a bit. I'm resisting putting another hole in the wall (at least in the front). The other thing I worry about is the distance from the wall, only 2-3 inches.
