On a related note, our M60s were in a 'brief' basement flood event and even though the water level came up to an inch over the base of our speakers, there was no damage, no long term loss of aesthetic or sound quality.
I'm not saying Axiom makes them water resistent, i'm just saying what happened in our circumstance.
