It's always fun to mess with the salesmen in electronic stores.

I remember going into a Radio Shack back in the 80's (loved it back then, you had all the stuff to make electronic projects or a bomb right off the shelf) and asking the salesman:

Me: "You got any variable frequency oscillators?"

Salesman: "Aren't those things illegal?"

LOL!
