For example, Audyssey measured that my M22s in my room setup were capable of strong output to below 60Hz, and using the receiver manufacturer's standard, the crossover was set at 60Hz. Nevertheless, since I wanted my EP500 to handle more of the low bass load and my M22s less, I manually reset the crossover to 80Hz. Resetting the crossover higher(but not lower) is okay since Audyssey would equalize theoretically as far down as the original setting and no equalization is lost if a higher setting is actually in effect.
