Check the cable at the receiver pre-out level if it correctly inserted or any damage. Double check the menu settings of the receiver that the subwoofer is set to yes/on. Check the controls on the back of the sub itself.
As a last resort, turn off the EP175 and unplug it from the electrical outlet for a few hours. Re-connect the cables and try again if you can hear any sound.
P.S. You can also check internally if a wire is disconnected.
I have tried all of those suggestions. I have triple checked all the receiver settings. I even tried a new RCA cable.
