The VP180’s tremendous bass extension and a personality very much like the M80 make it just the right for the role. Since it’s so large, there was never a break in the front soundstage and I noticed no lobing or change in sound from different seat.
I do note a difference in sound from when I move away from the main listening position, much less than the VP150 but still significant. However, this might probably be due to my poor room acoustics... I think. I will also try to rerun Audyssey as he suggested,maybe it will help.
