Am I missing something with the Xfinity app? I got the new version earlier this week and it mentioned being able to stream, but I didn't find anything to stream. Does it only work for certain channels?
Yeah, there's 'premium' channels listed that you are allowed to stream. For now, it's only a few but IIRC, they announced a few more channels yesterday.
And you can only get HBO and Showtime if you're a subscriber to those. Shows only stream on iPad, not iPhone 4 as far as I can tell. I was able to test some older HBO movies and some Cartoon Network shows like Ben 10.
