Well that's too bad. I had a look for some good (well, to me, and hopefully to you too) cheaper SACDs on Amazon Canada. For your consideration, I own each of:
Dire Straits: Brothers In Arms Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon There are plenty of others of course. The only thing that I'd say is be very careful when buying SACDs. Most, at least in my experience looking at pop/rock, are only stereo recordings, not 5.1 multi-channel, as those mentioned above are. For example, I seem to recall that a number of Elton John's SACDs were stereo only, though I can't find proof of that quickly on Amazon.
Find the SACD multi-channel music that you like - it's worth the search!
