Hear, hear. It's an impossible task, especially with a term as broad as "best." Too many variables, too much of it open to interpretation. In the end, I think the emotional resonance is the most important aspect of any art, and that's where it really does come down to choosing favorites, regardless of technical merits. Not that I know anything. There's probably art out there that's specifically designed to have zero emotional impact. Michael Bay?
