If you have the SPL meter, do the calibration manually. First turn your volume on the receiver to -10. Then calibrate all your speakers using the receiver test tone so that it will read 75db on the SPL meter. After you have done that successfully, put in the sound and vision disc to calibrate your subwoofer. Start with the volume dial on the subwoofer at 9 or 10 oclock and leave the subwoofer level on the receiver at 0. Then used the volume dial to adjust the sub to match your speakers at 75db. Remember to set your receiver volume to -10 for all calibration. You can also calibrate your speakers using the sound and vision disc but I prefer the receiver's test tone, it is easier.
