All of these new codecs are incompatible with pretty much every piece of electronics in most peoples homes. Is this the march of technology or the march of my money leaving my wallet. They need these codecs for streaming which in the end will spell the end of blu ray. I suspect this had a lot to do with MS not including Windows Media Center on the Xbox 1. I have never seen a 4K tv but I doubt very much I need one but soon that is all there will be cause that's what will be rammed down our throats. That was the death knell of Plasma.
