When you push the right joystick down across the top of the screen you will see some static information including the decoding method. When I put in a Blu-Ray it shows DTS-HD and when I put in a DVD it just said DTS.

I am OK with this but much prefer the fancy blue light showing up on my Denon receiver confirming the lossless format. The Xbox One kind of mocks you in thinking that you could bitstream out to your receiver, because there is an option called "Bitstream". But it doesn't work, and from my reading it's only somehow used for headhphone applications.
