Nick, I dont know if you have (but probably) tried the whole measurement and manual spl thing, or you just use audyssey, but I've found its really hard to add more bass and still have good bass.

What I mean I guess is at some point the bass acts as a mask for the finer detail in (mainly music) content and starts to smear over everything. I also found that measurements became much smoother across the board when I reduced the subs output by just a few db. This is no doubt due to room decay stuff at bass frequencies, but you can see how more bass might be a detriment in some ways I guess.

We talked about it a while ago, but I can totally see you going to a sealed front wall config and never looking back. It's pretty nice. I said it before, I'd sooner not have atmos than go back to ported.

There should be a show called "sub swap" where guys can live with eachothers subs for a week instead of "wife swap." Craig can host! Lol.
