The driver all of the sudden started wth that "buzzing crackling" sound that is consistent with a blown speaker. The amplifier does get warm but it has at least 8" above before the top shelf and the front and rear of the cabinet are open air so there is plenty of ventilation.

It all matters.....just not very much.
