If you just flip it the tweeter will then be at the bottom , not desirable. In essence i believe they flip the speaker orientation relative to the slope of the speaker. That sounds right - speaker layout would be the same but the front panel would angle up rather than being vertical-ish... ... and the feet would not be sticking up like it had been dead for a week.
