Myself only have had V4 models so I wouldn't be able to help with what those differences are.

Mr. Alan Loft though retired for a couple years now, didn't enjoy the M60 V1 and 2 by the 3rd he began to enjoy what they had become.


Actually, I believe Alan felt the V1 (Ti's?) versions could do with some refinement which were addressed in the V2's. I believe V2 to V3 was at most, incremental until the tweeter change on the V4's. So, basically the main changes were refinement from V1 to V2 and the tweeter change from V3 to V4 although Ian and Andrew are always tweaking. Keep in mind that not too many people have direct comparisons between different versions of the same speaker, as is my case...altough I have V2's, V3's and V4's, just not of the same speaker...V2's are mains(M80), V3 centre(VP180) and surrounds/backs are a combo of V2 and V4 QS8's. It sounds seamless to me. A call to Axiom would give you more details on the changes made over the different versions.
