This is exactly the conundrum i am in.
I was going to change around the speakers last year but covid put things on hold for a few reasons, not the least of which was a lack of AVR on sale due to lack of stock. Until i could get a new AVR, there was no point in adding more surrounds. IF i were to add those new surrounds, and thus would be wood veneer, they would not match the rest of our older vinyl wrapped speakers and hence, like Cam, we're in the position of having to trade them all in and replace them all. The deal Ian provided was excellent BUT it will still cost extra money to do it.
Unfortunately for those wanting to change to something newer, you would be getting wood veneer which most definitely looks different than the vinyl. If you want something larger that is an older model that was sold in vinyl, you can watch the used audio boards at least until something comes available.
