That would make sense if they merged engineering or at least have Andrew as common overseer ... there are cost and opportunity advantages to sharing technologies between the two but you'd have to be careful ...

There is great value in keeping the company brands separate. Axiom as value and Bryston as high-end. It allows them to sell similar products into different markets at different price points. To do that you must not allow the Bryston brand to get watered down ... even though you and I know it's just perception.
