it has been well documented that the denon products CAN handle the 4ohm load of the M80's. i dont think that will be an issue. as far as the wattage, that really depends on just how LOUD you push your system. obviously, if you are stepping up from the M60's to get the M80's, then you are feeling the need for some extra volume. you might consider stepping up to a bigger receiver in the future, but for now, get the M80's and blast away. if it sounds as if it is lacking to you, then start budgeting for a new receiver.

i know people on this board have been getting the 2802 and 2803's for around $350-$450 bucks from online retailers..look around, you might find a good deal.
