Mark, besides the really outstanding Planets that I like best of the four that I have(and the other dozen or so that I've heard)and linked in the previous reply, the
Debussy/Ravel collection, the
Rachmaninoff 1&3 , the
Rachmaninoff 2&4 , and
Strauss Waltzes are ones I have and think that you'd enjoy. Preferences in performance differ, of course, but these compare with any and are sensational bargains at that price. Some if the others are also worthwhile if you'd care to try even more. I recall that about a year ago you were asking about Carmina Burana and the Dorati isn't one of my top favorites, but it's certainly worth the price.
