Just how much base does one need? Would the better performance of these new subs over the HSU's truly justify their cost? Anyone?

Their use of the DSP circuitry to ensure that the sub works optimally makes me think that they might be able to do something on the otehr end of teh spectrum using this technology (to compete for our wives' favor and produce a "nearly invisible" home theater) to blow BLOSE out of the water!

How about applying this DSP technology to produce perfect ruler flat freq response for all the Axiom speakers. Perhaps this is what Axiom has in store for their Anniversary Release...?
Hmm, I haven't even got all my Axioms yet and I'm already suffering from upgrade-itis.
