Yeah, I have done the switch between thing, and the DVD Stereo sounded better. I trust my ears, but obviously they are only going to hear what choices I provide them with.
As I was repling to Jack, I was just wondering if there was a "proper" way to playback cds that I was missing. I guess I was getting at the compatibility of playing a cd on a dvd player/receiver input. I guess I missed CD Playback 101. Your point about levels is a valid one. There is a lot to the gear now days, and I just have to pay my dues by reading manuals and experimenting. Anyway, thanks for response.
