It's interesting that they weigh more than planned.
I'm in an old house (100+ years) that is all horsehair plaster and lathe underneath. I've used toggle bolts to pretty good success with various things around the house, but figure I'll need to mount my future QS8s on a "plaque" first, then to the wall to give me a larger surface area to work with. The good news is that I enjoy woodworking and might take the opportunity to custom design a wall mounted shelf with a hole in the bottom for the bottom-mounted woofer.
I'm curious about the weight difference, though. It might not only effect how I mount them, but which ones to order!
