Does anyone here bi wire or bi amp? Is the sound improvement worth it?

If bi wiring, it sounds as if you simply split the + and - out of the receiver and input them on the speaker. Meaning, Left + gets split, and then goes into + on BOTH inputs for the left speaker. And same for -, then repeat for the right speaker...correct? Does this really improve the sound? I would think bi-amping would be better.

That said, bi amping, do you use 1 amp for each speaker... to drive bass/treble for the left speaker, then another amp to drive the bass/treble for the right? OOORRR do you use 1 amp to drive the bass on left and right speaker, then 1 amp to drive treble for left and right speaker?

Once again, anyone doing this, and does it improve the sound alot? Just curious. I don't even have any pre-outs on my current received, BUT...now that I know I have capability to bi-amp, always fun to dream towards future upgrades.
