I've seen some fans listed at RemoteCentral.com, where they have all kinds of codes that work with remotes. But, as Ken said, as long as the remote to the fan of your choice is an IR (infrared) remote, The MX-700 will "learn" the codes it uses, and operate your fan.

I operate my Air conditioner, and control my lights which run on X-10 technology, with my MX-700. Too much fun
