i think what really matters is, which way sounds best to you? i think most people just put the sub directly on the ground. but, i know some who live in apts often put them on the stabilizer slabs. it helps keep the bass from going thru the walls to the next floors.

hope you can get it the way you like it. and trust me, the lack of response was nothing personal. i didnt answer specifically cause i have never tried the floating deal. to be honest, i was interested to hear what peoples results had been when they tried that..... i guess not many have?
