i have a tech question for all..

on receivers WITHOUT a phono input, i know you have to buy a small pre-amp or signal booster to plug the phono into, and then you can just go into one of the various auxillery inputs on the receiver.

what are these pre-amp or signal boosters called, for the phono.. and, where can i find some deals on some? or, just where can i find some?
