OK, first off, there is no cure for upgrade-itis.
I've got a line on a tube amp that I may be purchasing. But here's my problem. I only will use the tube amp w/ my M22's when using a turntable or CD player, maybe ipod but unlikely. For the rest of the time, the speakers will be used w/ for HT. My Pio 45TX has pre outs, where the tube amp will go.
I want to connect the speakers to both the tube amp and Pio 45TX and use a switch to move between the 2. I have an old Niles switch but that doesn't have banana jacks but also has the problem that both sources could be inadvertently turned on. Any suggestions?
