I had real trouble getting through the first two Evil Dead movies. Not sure why. On the other hand, I could watch Army of Darkness three times back-to-back and call it a great trilogy

The movies work, but for a real MARATHON:
Stargate SG-1, 8 seasons, 56 disks, 4 episodes per disc
Star Trek Series (TNG, Voyager, Deep Space Nine) - Each are 7 seasons, 56 disks, 4 episodes per disc

I would have a "war theme" marathon. Your pick of war movie but I would def include Saving Private Ryan. Great movie to show off the system..
