I'm not a big fan of the Plasmas unless I was going for a minimalist furniture design in a room that wouldn't be my primary theater and I had money to burn. That kind of scratch, when devoted to a projector or rptv results in a significantly better picture, in my opinion. However, if I had the money to do a Plasma elegantly above the fire place and a home theater room with a projector, I'd be all over it.

I agree. I told my boss we could get an absolutely amazing front-projector setup (including a top-quality screen) for $10k, but he was set on plasma.
