Having just upgraded my home theater system, I am now looking into wall mounted speakers(not in wall). I just had my house finished and would like to mount them on the wall. I currently have a Pioneer Elite VSX-74TXVi receiver. I am currently looking at NHT Classic Series, Paradigm Cinema Series, Totem Mite, Polk RTi4, Aperion Intimus and Axiom M3. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Where are you placing these speakers? Is this for a 5.1 setup? Or are you using them for your mains?

J, welcome. All the speakers that you've listed are good, although they have somewhat different sound characters. There's nobody who's listened to all of them in exactly the same setting, with the same material and at the same volume level(and this is the only sort of comparison which would be reasonably accurate in deciding preferences). If you see from the list of Axiom owners that one is nearby, you might arrange to listen and at least get some idea of what Axiom offers, although this of course wouldn't involve a comparison with the others. My other thought would be to order the M3s and try them. If you weren't satisfied(highly unlikely)you could return them during the 30 day trial period.

I've only heard the Axioms and Aperions, both are good but I prefer the Axioms. But for wall mounting I think you should consider the QS8's, I haven't spoken to anyone that doesn't love those speakers. Great reviews on them also.

After all that time reviewing, listening and looking for assistance, I stumbled across the Definitive Technology ProCinema 100's. After listening to many other leading brands, for the money, I decided to purchase. For my ears, they sounded perfect for the price. Thanks!

That's what its all about, finding what you like best. Happy listening.

Yup,....finding what you like best is "all important" indeed!!

Matter of fact; just pulled the trigger on new transducers for our smaller "stereo-only" system!!

Now the wait begins, nose prints on the front window and like that

Hope we get that "M3" sound like we had in the old house with a less "accoustically challenged" listening room, than what we have now for our main system!
