Hi There,
The instructions state that to use the Axiom wall mount, I should mount it to a wall stud. But where I want to mount them, you guessed it, no wall studs. Has anyone here mounted these using drywall screws or something or have any advice for me? Thanks!

One of the forum members (MarkSJohnson, I think) made up some nice decorative plaques which were wide enough to reach the studs, then mounted his QS8s (I think) to the plaques.
You will see threads talking about mounting QS8s without studs, and that *can* be done if you are careful, but I wouldn't try mounting FMBs that way. QS8s pull straight down, while FMBs pull "out" and will fall off the wall if you don't go into something solid.
If you have wood available at the top of the wall, and if you are mounting the M3s up high, one option might be to run a thin vertical piece of wood (maybe a 1x4) vertically, mounted to the cross member at the top and supporting the FMB at the bottom. You would probably want to bolt the FMB to the 1x4 instead of using wood screws.

Thanks for the info! I live in an apartment so I'm really limited on what I can get away with. Can other wall mounts be used with the M3ti, such as the Omnimount? Anybody have any idea what size the bolt is in the back of the speaker? If it's 1/4x20 the Omnimount would work fine.

Hi Hitman, and welcome to the forums!
I don't know if this will help your situation or not, but this is what John was referring to:

Mark, I really think those plaques look great and I plan to steal the idea next time I have vertical walls...
... but I can't help thinking your QS8s are missing their antlers...
