I just was digging through my folders on my old pc and found that I had written a comparison review of the Ascend Acoustics CBM-170's and the Axiom M22's. Well, I was suppose to post this a looong time ago, but never did. I'm glad I didn't at the time because when I re-read it, I realized it was way too long.

Well, I just revised it a *little* bit. I emphasize "little" because it's still too long (like a whole page of sh*t, basically! ). Anyhow, no one really talks about the Ascend's anymore, so I'm not sure if it's relevant to post or not. Also, I'm kind of embarrassed to post it, but if anyone really still cares to read it, I will.

Post away Sonic.
Everyone loves another good speaker review.

You would be surprised at how many ppl are into toipcs like vintage speakers from the 70s and 80s. I can't imagine how some of them would kill to have a modern magazine devoted to the subject (assuming one doesn't already exist).

I have one friend who specifically kept a ton of old copies of the original Cdn S&V audio mag that Alan edited just for various reviews of components from that time. He says he often gets requests from others who know he has the mags and are looking for info on used vintage components they might buy.

Sure, why not? I remember reading a post from you a while back saying that a comparison was in the works. Now we know why it never made it.

I would love to see it also.

I'd love to see it! I too posted a comparison of the two a long while back. I'd be interested to see if your thoughts were similar to mine.

Same here, I would enjoy reading it.
