Well after a seemingly endless winter the temp. has gone from 40 deg. to mid 70's in the past 2 days, and seems here to stay.
Normally I would be jumping for joy, but with 700 sq ft. of slate in the garage for the entry and lumber for my wifes new pergola, my back is already starting to ache.
If you don't hear from me, it just means I'm lying on the floor crying about pulling up 15 years worth of old tile and grinding down an impossible amount of thinset.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Golf sounds like more fun.
Actually anything else sounds fun!

I can relate to that project, once I finish up the 400 square feet of marle in the solarium, I will be going back to finish up the dining, living room and entry way. The entry way has about 100 square feet of granite tile I need to remove, last of the tile I need to I remove. Good luck and have fun.

I made a run to the dump and got the first coat of paint in a bedroom done. I plan on lounging in the sun for the first time this spring with a cold beer, a Calvin and Hobbes compilation and the mp3 player at 3:00. Mid 60's and clear blue skies.

It's nice and grey here. I imagine that will change in a couple of hours. Nevertheless, there are projects...

We had the mildest winter I can remember this year, never the less it's Spring and it's my most favorite season. But it's been a very wet one thus far. There are plenty of things to do inside still but here I sit on my lazy bumm reading the forums instead of getting something done.

It just doesn't seem to want to warm up here. I'm still wearing a jacket. It's been raining for 3 days, we're just lucky it wasn't snow. If the temp would have dropped an additional 20 degrees, we would've had a 3 day blizzard. Highs in the low 50s.
