2 questions here for this one ...
1) My movie room will be 16 x 27 x 9 when finish I am even considering now to taper the walls from 18 in front to 16 in the rear. What would the major advantage if any really be in either two EP500's or Twoo EP600's. FOr the extra $1200.00 would it really make that much difference. I am not rich so I do not have disposable income, if I did and was I'd go the EP600 root. And what is the difference between the EP600H and the EP600V.
2) The line out and Line in on the subs does this mean we can actually now daisey chain them together.

3) More a wish they would than a question but, I wish you/we could buy a 7.4 channel amp. I would love to have 4 subs and the .4 would be to divert left front, right front and left rear, right rear low frequecies for the proper channels.
I know yall gonna say low frequencies are mono directional but I can tell when the intial boom that is spose to be in the rear left is comeing from up front

1. Two subs will get you louder and/or smoother bass response over a larger area of the room. The differnce depends entirely on your room and how the subs are placed within it. You can always buy a second sub later, so I'd start withe one.

The difference betweebn the H and the V is that the H is made for horizontal placement -- amp and Axiom badging are mounted diffently -- and the V is made for vertical placement. Other than that they are identical.

2. Yes, you can daisy chain them.

3. If you can tell where the boom is coming from, you need to tweak your sub's settings and placement. Perhaps use a lower crossover.

I am still thinking about getting a 2nd EP500. The 600 goes a little lower and gets a little louder than the 500, but with 2 500s you still get 96-98% of bass response. Would you miss the 2-4%?

It would be awesome to have twin EP600s though!

That's my plan of action one day Doug, just as Peter says...to have a smoother response cover a larger area of our listening room. I would imagine a 600 and a 500 daisy chained together would be a great combination as well.
