In reviewing the Axiom 80 600 system Audioholics makes a comment that the center channel has a hard time keeping up with the surrounds. What are they talking about and has anyone here had that problem?

I think reviewer felt the VP150 was being overshadowed by the volume from the M80's, I think the VP150 is a great speaker that matches well with the 80's, although I did turn the db's up a notch on the VP150 in relation to my mains to give it the sound I wanted.

The M80's being a 4 ohm load will be driven easier and louder than the 6 ohm VP150 at the same settings, so it makes sense that the Vp 150 was having a hard time keeping up. As was stated a few extra decibels on the setup will negate the difference.

Placement of the center - in any system - is critical.
