I know that folks are always looking for screens, and that there are plenty of DIYers around here. I also know that many of us here are fans of monoprice.com for reasonably priced cables, etc.

Well, they have motorized screens for extremely competitive prices. We're talking <$150 for 100" diagonal screen. As someone who thought a screen was going to be a DIY project, and was going to have to do a fixed screen at that, I'm looking into this as an attractive alternative.

I really don't know anything else about them. Not sure if they're good, what they're most similar to, reliability, or even if there are any reviews yet. Just wanted to mare you aware of this as I go do some research. I have written them an email asking who manufactures their screen material. If people are interested, I'll report back when I get a response.

Monoprice Motorized Screens

Hmmm, maybe Nintendo has programmed me to buy more stuff to use for playing Wii.
