Happy Birthday! I just sent my wife out to the local brewery with an empty growler to fetch me a refill. I'll drink one to you in a few minutes.

Ok, ok. She volunteered to get it since she just got back from a ladies night out and told me about a beer she liked.

Happy Birthday, Scott! Using your little hint, I find that the Albert St. bridge is the longest bridge in the world crossing the smallest amount of water. Was the contractor the mayor's brother?

Alright, alright, is there anything that John doesn't know???? Bullseye, you got it. The St.Albert Street Memorial Bridge is claimed to be the longest bridge over the shortest span of water in the world. The connection to the Regina Riot being the great depression as the bridge was built in 1930 as a make work project.

Thanks again everyone, this thread was certainly worth a few smiles today. Have yourselves a good evening!

Really? Well, too bad I'm never out there anymore would have been a good bit of trivia to stump the locals with.

Almost missed this--been out all day.

Happy Birthday Scott! If I were you I'd stop having birthdays now. 28 is a good age to hold steady at.

I'd raise a toast to you, but I'm afraid I overdid it on the cheesecake for dessert *burp*--can't fit anything else in my stomach. *burp again*
