I still use the first and only set of computer speakers I ever bought. It's a Yamaha sub+sat system that I bought back in 1997. Wow - a whole ten years old. They still sound just as good as they did then, which is to say better than your average computer speaker but still nowhere near Axiom standards.

I absolutely love the fact that you are not rushing this to market but are taking in market input.

Your segmentation appears to cover everyone. I am just not too sure that you need #1 & #2. I suppose it all depends on the price sensitivity.

That's a lot of flavours to carry. For the sake of you and your staff, I hope that you don't attempt to introduce these all at once .

I agree, I would think that #1 is all that you need for a computer system...

In addition, Since axiom is going to be releasing a 2 channel digital amp with huge watts per channel. I would recommend only releasing a 55 watts per channel amp for the other Axiom speakers as well.

Not a 120 watts. IMHO

I myself am very interested in a small form factor 2-channel amp for use with M3s or M22s on their own.

May I say that am am also VERY interested in a small amp to drive some M22s...the BPA-1 from emotiva is $159...I would love Axiom to undercut their price.

Yep, that's the one I want for my M3's as well. 120w/ch sounds PERFECT, but I cringe at having to use adapters for 3.5mm plugs. Make'em RCA's!!

Different amps, I imagine. The standalone amp would probably have binding posts.

I would see the miniplugs as being necessary due to the crossovers being in the amp, rather than the speakers. You've got to have, what, at least 3 separate lines that way?

We could have RCA inputs and binding post outputs on the 2 channel stand alone model no problem but on the 5 channel one it becomes a real estate issue. We have a back panel that is only about 4.75 inches square. We would need to fit on there 5 sets of speaker outs, an IEC connector, voltage switch, 5 RCA inputs, and the fuse holder.

With the binding post outputs for the computer speakers, wouldn't you have to essentially biwire, since they're kind of bi-amped (in that the crossover is in the amp, not the speaker?)

The computer system version of the amp will have stereo 3.5 mm jacks for the speakers and we will supply the cables to go from the amp to the speakers.
