If it's not feasible for you to connect your Xbox 360 to the internet, apparently you can now download the latest system update from the Xbox website and burn it to DVD or CD. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/console/systemupdates.htm

It would still be able to burn the contents to a disc, wouldn't it? Zip files are zip files? I'm not familiar with Macs. Still, I don't know if the HD DVD update is a part of the system update, which is what you wanted, right?

Yeah, I was looking for the HD update. I don't have any blank discs to try right now. I'll be heading up to my folks' house some time this week and can burn a disc there.
Hmm, I haven't used my HD-DVD drive in a while. I'll change my Netflix que.
