Yeah, the "Club Onkyo" is only for the US. The 605 sells for $700 up here at London Drugs.

Yeah Terry, that's unfortunate. The 605 refurb offer is a good one, along with $189 for a 505, if a more basic receiver is wanted. Keep in mind that although Canadians aren't required to identify themselves in the first post, it would have been helpful if you threw in "eh?" once or twice!

I guess I could have thrown in some eh's here or there and in fact I will in the future.Its a shame companys always want to have there way with us Canadians EH.
I was looking at the HK AVR247 on eCost.com It looks pretty cheap and comes with taxes duty and shipping for 500$ Or the AVR 147 for 400$
Are these refurbished ?It doesn't say if they are, the 247 is 699+tax and the 147 is 549$ here at FS.
