My inlaws now have these mounted in the pool room. Looks great with the new 58" Panansonic 1080p plasma, sounds great running off a Denon 2808.
Our problem is that the instructions indicate that the speakers "lock" onto the bracket. However, I've tried to push hard on the speakers and they never lock into place. I know we mounted them correctly because the bottom of the brackets are such that the groove is there.
What are we missing?

I have to go back and wire up the IR remote extender and program the Harmony 880. I'll take pix as soon as the QS8's are mounted.

I was trying to remember what Doug Schneider said about this in his review - here it is: We then slid each speaker into the wall until it hit the back of its frame. A hard downward push and it "clunked" down about 1/8" into place, secured to the frame, which in turn was secured to the wall. If at some point we need to remove the speakers, all we have to do is lift them up that 1/8" and slide them out again. http://www.soundstageav.com/onhifi/20070501.htmDid you give it a hard downward push?
