I have the following choices?
Polk RTI100 $500.
Axiom M40 $395
Axiom M50 $600
Kef Q5 $650
Which one should I pick for a stereo setup? My room is 15X20.

I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing but I went to Polk site which shows that RTi100 is $589.95 each or $1,180 per pair compared with $1,100 per pair of M80ti. You will even save money with M60ti at $800 a pair.

Good catch there. You can find the RTi100 online for as little as $375/each, but that still puts a pair of them up at nearly the cost of the Axiom M60s, which is a better speaker in all respects.

The Polk RTI100 is currently on sale at my local Frye's electronic for $500 a pair. Which is a great deal. But I don't know how it compare to Axiom Speakers.

In general, and I'm not sure if it's safe to make such a blanket statement, I think Polk speakers are not audiophile quality, while the Axioms are. I'd be much more likely to recommend a pair of Axioms I had never heard to a pair of Polks I had never heard.

I've heard Polks (not that model) and was not particularly moved. I've heard Axioms (M22s, not M60s or 50s) and I was definitely moved. Go with the Axioms. If you hate them, just send them to me!

I have a pair of M50ti's and they sound great. While they do sound good on there own, I recomend you get a musical sub to pair them with. The sub fills in the bottom end and really opens up the sound stage. I never heard the polk towers but I have listend to the Rti28 bookshelfs paired with a sub. They sounded good to me but they were in my friends small room.
