Grrrr, you're all so horrible. I'm seriously considering getting some Audiobytes sooner than I anticipated. \:\) I still haven't been able to get my CPU through my friend, so I think I may break down and go for the speakers right now. So... do I go with Charcoal or Black?

I have a black Microsoft keyboard and mouse, and this is the case for my new computer:

I imagine my new monitor will be black, whenever I get around to getting a new one of those. I thought the Charcoal might be the way to go. Does anyone have Charcoal yet? If I hear they're beautiful, I imagine my fate is written.

Before my wife upgraded my order, mine were going to be charcoal.

I'm a big help, I'm sure.

Wood? Wood is cool, but it wouldn't go with anything else of mine. I guess I'm slowly turning to the dark side with this Sith computer in the making. My crappy 2nd hand beige CRT monitor is the last bit of goodness, which I can't wait to get rid of. Ha ha.

Call Axiom and see if they have samples to send you. Set them on your desk and see which you like best.

And then close your eyes and pretend the samples can play music--instant Audiobytes.

Well, not really. . .

Ha ha, good idea. Hey, psychology plays a big part in audio, right?

Charles,

My feeling (and others close to me) is that the basic finishes don't look "executive" enough. I don't intend for this to sound snooty. I'd just be careful that your audiobytes don't look like something that BestBuy sells, you know what I mean \:\) ? If you get walnut or cherry, everytime you or others look at them, they'll look like something real special \:\) .

\:\) Hmmm, something to think about. But you know, if I got really nice-looking computer speakers, I'd want to upgrade to a nicer finish on my home theater speakers.
