Then again, consider the system: Axiom's low end. We all know (my previous incorrect comments re the tweeters notwithstanding) that the VP100s don't really match the M3s, right? Also consider what they thought was good: Klipsh. Need I say more?
Also, they seem to denegrate music lovers as somehow "inferior" to HT aficionados. Geez...

The c|net reviews on audio gears are about as good as, well... those in Consumer Reports. They rate the Klipsch, Onkyo, and [gasp] Bose speaker packages among the top.
We should be VERY glad that the Axioms didn't score too high there, because they were too "musical"! LOL

I would not put too much weight on the CNet review. They rate the Aperion setup very high. It is a nice setup, but nowhere near the sound quality of Ascends or Axioms in my opinion.
I must admit though, I have not heard the M3Ti.
