Finally retired the 36" CRT and replaced it with a 61" DLP and swapped out my fluorescent ceiling lights for some sconces with dimmer.

(Lights dimmed) Camera flash lit up the area.


Now I just need some pictures, acoustic panels or art.

What's funny is that several people I know call sconces scones. I guess they could put scones on their walls....

Thanks guys. The scones make a huge difference. I don't have to rely on a lamp any longer for finding/using my remotes and the amber glow is pretty cool. Oh yeah, the TV is pretty cool too.

Just got done watching the Orange Bowl while listening to some smooth jazz via my Squeeze Box. Life is good. At least until the baby wakes up.

I love the sconces, but the blanket over your chair really ties the room together.

I might just have to add some sconces and take out the recessed lights, as I really like that look, wait the kids would have those knocked off the walls in no time which is why I went with the recessed lighting.
